Product Description
Marine-Grade 316 Strength, Almost Flush Profile – Tactile Indicator Single Stud Stainless Steel Glue & Stick
The Enforcer Single Stud Glue & Stick Tactile Indicator delivers underfoot warning and directional guidance for pedestrians who are blind or have low vision. Machined from marine-grade 316 stainless steel with a flat, stemless back, it bonds to concrete, tile, asphalt and pavers using construction adhesive — the specified fixing where drilling is not an option and long service life matters.
Why Choose This Tactile Indicator?
- Marine-grade 316 (A4/AISI 316) stainless steel resists salt, moisture and chemical exposure, suiting coastal and wet environments
- Flat back with no stem or pin sits almost flush, giving a low, minimal profile underfoot
- Recessed underside beds the adhesive so nothing protrudes and the stud seats cleanly on the substrate
- Concentric raised rings on the face give clear detectable cues underfoot or by cane
- 35mm diameter and 4.5mm height conform to the discrete stud dimensions in AS/NZS 1428.4.1
- Brushed satin finish keeps glare low and hides scuffs and wear marks in service
- No drilling or coring required, so existing surfaces stay intact and installation is dust-free
- Supplied as single studs so you can order exact quantities without waste
Where Can This Tactile Indicator Be Used?
- Train stations, bus interchanges and tram stops
- Shopping centres and retail precincts
- Office buildings, hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Footpaths, plazas, ramps and stair approaches
- Coastal boardwalks, marinas, pools and wet areas

More About This Product
- Is adhesive supplied? No. These studs ship without adhesive so you can select the right product for your substrate. Use a quality construction adhesive suited to the surface, and allow for it when ordering.
- How does Glue & Stick differ from Peel & Stick? This stud has a plain flat back with a recessed underside that you bond using a separate construction adhesive, which grips better on rougher, porous or exterior surfaces. Our Peel & Stick version has the adhesive pre-applied and installs faster on smooth interior substrates.
- Are these studs compliant with AS/NZS 1428.4.1? At 35mm diameter and 4.5mm high, the stud conforms to the discrete tactile indicator dimensions specified in AS/NZS 1428.4.1. Compliance of a finished installation also depends on layout, spacing and luminance contrast. A brushed silver stud will not always achieve the required contrast against pale concrete, so verify this against your substrate at design stage, or specify a black-insert variant where contrast is critical.
- How are they installed? Clean and dry the surface, apply construction adhesive into the recessed underside, press the stud firmly into position and allow it to cure according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions. No drilling, coring or specialised tools needed.
- What surfaces can they be applied to? Concrete, tiles, asphalt, pavers, natural stone and timber, provided the surface is sound, clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose material.
- Are they suitable for coastal or wet areas? Yes. The 316 grade is specified for salt and moisture exposure, making these studs suitable for boardwalks, marinas, pool surrounds and washdown areas where lower grades would pit and stain.
- Is there a warranty? Yes. This product carries a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects.
