Mixed-Use Commercial & Medical Precinct Safety Installation – Werribee, VIC
Enforcer supplied and installed a comprehensive range of safety, accessibility and traffic management products for a premium mixed-use commercial and medical precinct in Werribee. The multi-storey development incorporates medical suites, childcare facilities and commercial office spaces, requiring integrated safety infrastructure to support tenants, visitors and staff across a variety of environments.
The installation was designed to improve accessibility, pedestrian safety, vehicle management and asset protection throughout the development while complementing the modern architectural design of the precinct.
Project Scope
The project involved the supply and installation of a range of integrated safety, accessibility, and traffic management solutions throughout the development to improve pedestrian protection, vehicle control, and overall site functionality. Accessibility upgrades included Black Aluminium Stair Nosing with Silicon Carbide Inserts and hazard Tactile Indicators installed at key entrances and stairways to support pedestrian safety and compliance requirements. Vehicle and parking management measures, including Wheel Stops, Disabled Parking Bollards, and Height Clearance Bars, were installed to improve traffic flow, parking control, and vehicle access management across the site. Bike Racks, including both Stainless Steel Surface-Mounted and Wall-Mounted systems, were installed to provide secure bicycle parking for occupants and visitors. Convex Mirrors and Full Dome Mirrors were positioned at key circulation points to improve visibility and enhance safety within vehicle movement areas. W-Beam Safety Barriers were installed in high-risk zones to provide robust impact protection, while custom Galvanised Downpipe Protectors were manufactured and installed to safeguard building services and infrastructure from accidental vehicle damage.
Challenges and Solution
As a mixed-use development accommodating healthcare, childcare and commercial tenants, the project required a broad range of safety solutions capable of addressing accessibility, vehicle management, pedestrian movement and asset protection requirements across multiple areas. Enforcer delivered an integrated package combining standard safety products with custom-manufactured infrastructure protection solutions. The custom Downpipe Protectors were specifically designed to suit site requirements, while the combination of accessibility products, traffic management infrastructure and impact protection systems helped create a safe and functional environment for all users of the precinct.
