Childcare Centre Safety Infrastructure Installation – Thornbury, VIC
At a childcare centre in Thornbury, VIC, Enforcer supplied and installed a range of safety infrastructure to improve pedestrian movement, vehicle control, and overall site organisation.
The installation focused on supporting safe daily activity during drop-off and pick-up periods, where clear separation between vehicles and pedestrians is essential. Surface mounted bollards were installed to protect key access points, while rubber wheel stops guide vehicles into designated parking areas and maintain structured traffic flow.
Surface mounted stainless steel and galvanised bike racks were installed to provide convenient and organised bicycle parking for staff and visitors. Additional pedestrian safety measures, including tactile indicators and aluminium stair nosing with silicon carbide inserts, improve visibility and accessibility across walkways and step areas.
Designed for durability and visibility, the installed products provide a practical, low-maintenance solution suited to busy childcare environments.
Project Scope
The project involved the supply and installation of rubber wheel stops, peel and stick tactile indicators (300mm x 300mm), aluminium stair nosing with silicon carbide insert, stainless steel and galvanised surface mounted bike racks, and 140mm surface mounted disabled parking bollards, along with the required anchor bolts and fixings. These products were installed across parking and pedestrian areas to improve vehicle control, protect access points, and enhance pedestrian safety.
