Speed humps should be selected and installed based on the intended speed control requirements, site
conditions, and surrounding environment.

Key Considerations Include:

  • Install speed humps in suitable low-speed environments where vehicle speed
    control is required.
  • Position speed humps to support safe vehicle movement while considering
    pedestrian access and surrounding infrastructure.
  • Ensure speed humps are clearly visible to approaching vehicles through
appropriate markings and signage where required.
  • Select a speed hump design suitable for the vehicle types, traffic conditions, and
    installation environment.
  • Ensure installation methods and fixings are suitable for the mounting surface

Note: Speed hump selection, placement, and installation requirements will vary depending on site
conditions, vehicle types, traffic flow, and intended application.
