Car Dealership Site Works – Kilmore, VIC

Enforcer supplied and installed a range of traffic management, parking and pedestrian safety products for a new car dealership development in Kilmore, Victoria.

Car yards have high vehicle movement throughout the day, with customers, staff and vehicles sharing car parks, accessways and pedestrian areas. The installed products were selected to help clearly define parking areas, manage vehicle movement and improve safety throughout the dealership environment.

Project Scope

The project included Wheel Stops, Surface Mounted Bollards, Disabled Parking Bollards, Bike Racks, Tactile Indicators and Line Marking. These products were selected to support the day-to-day requirements of a dealership, where vehicle circulation, customer parking, pedestrian access and clearly defined areas are important to the overall site layout.

Challenges and Solution

Car yards experience frequent vehicle movement, with new and pre-owned vehicles being displayed, relocated and accessed by customers and staff. This creates a need for clearly defined parking areas and protection around pedestrian and vehicle zones. Wheel Stops help establish consistent vehicle stopping positions within parking bays, while Surface Mounted Bollards provide physical protection around designated areas and help reduce the risk of vehicle impact. Disabled Parking Bollards and Tactile Indicators support accessible parking and pedestrian areas, helping provide clearer visual and tactile guidance for customers and visitors moving through the dealership. Line Marking provides clear definition for parking bays and traffic areas, helping drivers understand the intended layout of the site. Bike Racks provide a dedicated area for bicycle parking, keeping bicycles organised and separate from vehicle parking and circulation areas.

Project Outcome

The completed installation provides practical traffic and safety benefits for the dealership, helping create a more structured environment for customers, staff and vehicles. Clearly defined parking areas, vehicle protection measures, accessible facilities and organised pedestrian spaces can help improve site navigation while reducing potential conflicts between vehicles and people. The combination of products provides a practical foundation for managing the everyday movement associated with a busy car yard.
